Description
Weekdays, weekends, and especially winter — the Italia is ready for it all. Handmade from premium 7000 series aluminium and paired with a high-quality carbon fork, the Italia is a performance road frame at an affordable price. Whether it’s first rides, club rides, or century events, the Italia smooths the road beneath your tyres. It’s no wonder the Italia has been in the Condor Cycles range since 1948. The Pioggia carbon fork delivers great handling, and a smooth and comfortable ride, soaking up the buzz of rough city Tarmac. The Italia is made using the same 7000 series aluminium tubing as the performance-focussed Italia RC. It is custom rolled and shaped to save weight, and the top tube flattened and ovalised to increase strength and reduce unnecessary material. There is no need to compromise when it comes to tyres. Fit up to 28mm along with full mudguards to keep dirty road spray off your body. The Italia has integrated rack mounts, allowing you to keep the weight off your back and onto a rack, making the Italia a fast commuter and winter bike. Unlike the race-focused Italia RC, the Italia uses Condor’s endurance geometry. The head tube is slightly taller than on the race bikes to provide a degree of comfort and reduce rider fatigue. The Italia has been a staple of the Condor range since 1948. In the fifties, riders would use their bikes as a workhorse and at the weekend ride across the country to compete in races. The ethos of the Italia continues today. Whether you’re just getting into road cycling, commuting, or looking for a new bike, the Italia is as performance-packed as it is versatile. When Monty Young first opened the doors of Condor in 1948, he probably didn’t think he’d build bicycles for pop stars, Olympians and Royalty over the years.
Every bicycle tells a different story.
